This mythical mountain hike starts with a small steep trail that takes us directly to a vertical dihedral where we scramble up the shoulder to reach the foot of a gulley which is climbed partly roped up..
The view is breathtaking. Far below you see the Creve Coeur vallee and La Laura village. The last part of the climb to reach the neck is scrambling and rope climbing with ropes. You’ll come across ridges with 300m drops on either sides, roped up for safety to reach the balcony beneath the great boulder perched on the very top. Summiting from the shoulder involves a little rock climb.
This mountain required a good level of fitness and ability to be exposed to height.
